Can parrots eat mulberries?

Mulberries · Fruits

Yes — ripe mulberries are safe, antioxidant-rich, and a natural part of many birds' wild diets.

Keeper's noteIf you have a mulberry tree from an unsprayed area, it's a seasonal jackpot. Expect deep-purple staining everywhere.

Why mulberries is good for parrots

Ripe mulberries are non-toxic and rich in vitamin C, iron, and antioxidants — and wild birds flock to mulberry trees, so they're a natural fit. Only fully ripe (dark) berries should be offered; very underripe white mulberries can cause mild stomach upset.
